Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for healing and protection has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
We pray to our Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, that He would have mercy on you and grant healing to your body. We ask Him to strengthen your veins and your legs, to ease your pain and to give wisdom to those who care for you medically. We ask for His will to be done, trusting that He knows what is best and that He gives what is sufficient for our good. We pray that He would guide your doctors and give you peace as you consider the procedure before you, and that whether through healing without intervention or through the skill He has given to physicians, you would know His care.
We also pray for your protection as you walk in your neighborhood. We ask God to keep you safe from harm and from these dogs that trouble you, and to give wisdom to you and to your neighbors and to those in authority to address this danger in a right and peaceful way.
We encourage you not to feel you must use special phrases or decrees to be heard. The Lord does not hear us because of vain repetitions or forceful words, but because we come to Him humbly and trustingly as children to a Father. A simple and sincere prayer, asking for daily bread and for what we need to abound in every good work, is pleasing to Him. So we come not demanding our own outcome, but asking for His mercy and submitting to His wise providence.
We will continue to pray that God would grant you health, safety, patience and trust in Him, and that you would know the comfort of Christ who heals both body and soul.
