Beloved of All
We join you in lifting your son before our heavenly Father, asking for His healing and protecting hand upon him.
We pray that the Lord, who is the true Son of God and who became Son of David so that we who were slaves might become sons of God, will touch your son in body, mind, and spirit. Christ does not heal as one who merely asks another, but as One who is able Himself to do this, and we ask Him to show that power and mercy now. May He restore health where there is sickness, bring clarity and peace where there is distress of mind, and bring spiritual strength and life where it is most needed.
We ask the Father to guard him from all harm and danger, both seen and unseen, and to surround him with His presence. As the true physician, Christ alone is our remedy and our weapon, and we trust not in any other hope but in Him and the sign of His cross. May your son know that he is kept in the hands of the Lord who loves us with great lovingkindness and who gives us time and grace to be healed and restored.
We also pray that your son will hear the words of Christ and keep them, for to hear and obey Him is the proof of love for the Son and for the Father, and that hearing brings life. Even as a physician continues his treatment with patience, so we will continue in prayer, trusting that God hears and that our persistent asking, in faith, is part of His healing work.
We thank the Father with you for all He has done and all He will do, and we ask all these things with confidence in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our peace. Amen.
