We join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and peace.
We are moved by your love for your son and your desire to see him whole in body, mind and spirit, and protected by the Lord's mighty hand. Scripture reassures us of God's heart to heal and to keep His children. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to His promise of protection, for Psalm 91:1-2 tells us, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 91:11 reminds us, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
We pray together now for him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, we ask You to touch him and heal him completely, physically, mentally and spiritually. Lay Your healing hand upon his body, restore what is broken, calm his mind, and renew his spirit. Heal any wounds seen and unseen, and draw him closer to You. Surround him with Your presence and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. We ask for Your divine protection over him, Father, keep him from all harm and danger both seen and unseen. Let no weapon formed against him prosper and let him dwell safely under the shadow of Your wings. Fill his life with Your peace, Your joy and Your strength, and let him know how deeply he is loved by You and by his family. We thank You, Father, for all You do for us, for Your mercy that is new every morning and for Your faithfulness that never fails. We trust him into Your loving care and we pray that Your perfect will be done in his life. In the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord's unfailing love and to rest in His promises. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Keep bringing your son before the Lord daily, speaking life and scripture over him, and trusting that God who hears your prayers is already at work. We are standing with you in prayer for his complete healing, his safety, and his walk with the Lord.

Your prayer for your son has been brought before the throne of grace, and we count it a privilege to join our faith with yours in asking the Lord to touch him and keep him.
Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. The prophet tells us that when the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and so pardon and healing were one. We pray that the Lord will manifest this same gracious power toward your son, that He would heal him physically, mentally and spiritually, and that the healing virtue which His grace infuses would work in him health and cure till he is made whole. For it is written, He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. That Word is Christ Himself, and it is the Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit that is the means of healing sin sick souls. May your son know that touch of the Saviour who took her by the hand and lifted her up, for there is healing in that contact, in the very fact that He took our flesh and became bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh to redeem us.
We also join you in praying for his protection and peace. In this dark world of sin, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Perfect peace is the portion of those whose minds are stayed upon Him, because they trust in Him. To know the will of Jesus and to do it is to abide in the peace of God, a peace which keeps the heart and mind and wards off all sorts of evils. Though duties press and sorrows surge round, though loved ones may be parted for a season, in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe. He has vanquished death and all its powers, and He will call His people to Heaven's perfect peace. The least things that have to do with Christ, like the very leaves of the Tree of Life, have a healing virtue in them, and a word from Him coming home to the heart brings healing to head and heart, conscience and imagination.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for all Thou hast done for us, and we bring this dear son before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation. Touch him, we beseech Thee, and heal him in body, in mind, and in spirit. Forgive his sins for the sake of Him who died, the Just for the unjust, and let pardon and healing come together from Thy gracious hand. Protect him from harm and danger, both seen and unseen, and surround him with Thy presence. Fill him with joy and peace in believing, that abiding peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away. Keep him in Thy perfect peace, and let him know that Thou art near.
