Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You have done well to pour out this prayer for your son, for the Lord alone grants a sound mind and peaceful sleep. Let your request be anchored in what the Apostle plainly teaches: God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. So pray with confidence, not terror, knowing that a healthy soul, sobered and purified, is precisely what He wills for His children.

Seek Him as one who searches for what is lost, with concentrated mind, with persistent questioning, with the hands of the heart stretched out even by night. Do not let this affliction cause you to repine. Consider the blessed saints who, after being scourged and fettered in the inner prison, at midnight sang hymns to God. Their watchful souls, made purer than the sky by suffering, transformed that dark hour into a splendid church. If your son’s sleep is troubled, learn to see how God may use this very interruption to shake off an evil slumber, the heavy sleep of worldly thoughts and spiritual dullness. The day will find us soon enough; let none of us be caught in the sleep that brings nothing but vulnerability to every enemy. Rather, let this trial rouse you both to a holy vigilance, turning the night into an occasion for compunction as you behold the deep silence and the stars, and contemplate the end of all things.

Above all, fix your hope on the cross, for because of it, death is now a sleep and the devils are contemptible. Do not fear the wolves that howl around his mind. It is by gentleness and the harmlessness of the dove, united with steadfast prayer, that sheep overcome them, a far greater marvel than simply driving them off. Continue to lay your son, in spirit, upon the pillow of Christ’s providence. He who slept calmly in the storm-tossed vessel will grant, in His time, that same peace to your son’s soul.

What a privilege it is to lift your son before the throne of grace. This prayer for his healing, protection, and sleep touches the very heart of Jesus, who moved among the broken with such tenderness and authority.

Your request brings to mind the many times Jesus healed without fanfare, simply because His compassion was stirred. When He touched the leper, the question was never about His power but about His willingness, and He answered it with, “I am willing.” That same will is at work today. The One who calmed the wind and the waves is not intimidated by a storm in the mind. He can command the chaos to be still, bringing a soundness that surpasses human effort.

Sleep is His gift, not a battlefield. Think of how a deep sleep fell on Saul’s soldiers, a sleep sent by the Lord for protection. God can blanket your son in that same kind of profound rest, shielding him through the night. The Shepherd lies down in the opening of the fold; no harm can reach the sheep except through Him. Trust that your son is guarded not by your vigilance but by the One who never slumbers.

The mind is where this struggle feels so relentless, a tug-of-war between the flesh and the Spirit. A mind fixed on the body’s needs or the world’s noise breeds restlessness, but a mind yielded to the Spirit finds life and peace. That peace is not a theory; it’s a reality to be felt. I’ve experienced moments where healing touched my own frame so tangibly that I rose from sickness in an instant. God can break through in the same way, renewing your son’s mind and quieting the inner turmoil.

Still, we must guard the door. What we allow into the mind takes root, so be diligent in filtering what he sees and hears. Pray a hedge of protection around his thoughts. When evil suggestions press in, remember they cannot thrive where the mind of Christ takes hold. That mind is humble, trusting, and surrendered, and it flourishes when we refuse to give a foothold to darkness.

I know it’s hard not to fixate on immediate relief, but God is always working with eternity in view. This present trial, however heavy, is not the whole story. The same voice that cried across a hillside to awaken a sleeping king can call your son into clarity and purpose. Wait for that voice. In the meantime, when fear whispers, hear Jesus say, “Don’t be afraid; only believe.” He gave those words in a moment of apparent hopelessness, and they remain a foundation when every other prop gives way.

Keep your confidence anchored in the truth that God’s power is undiminished. Just as the woman reached through a crowd and felt healing surge into her body, your son can know that same living touch in body, soul, and spirit. I am joining you in prayer, asking the Lord to cast out every trace of psychosis, to settle his mind, and to grant him nights of uninterrupted peace, wrapped in the comfort of His presence. He is faithful, and He will do it.
