We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You are the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon your son, both in body and mind. Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You would bind up his wounds and bring restoration to every part of his being that has been affected by the trials he has endured.
Father, we also ask for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that he may dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that seeks to torment him, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand guard over his heart and mind.
Lord, we specifically lift up his sleep to You, asking that You would calm his spirit and quiet his mind. We pray against the nightmares that plague him, asking that You would fill his dreams with Your love, light, and truth. May he find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Let him wake refreshed and renewed, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to encourage you, dear one, to continue speaking life and truth over your son. Remind him of God’s promises and surround him with believers who can uplift and support him. Consider seeking godly counsel or professional help that aligns with biblical principles to aid in his healing journey.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be evident in his life.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
