We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son and the deep struggles he faces with PTSD. The pain of watching a child battle nightmares and sleeplessness is not lost on us, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is our Great Physician, our Protector, and our Peace. We declare His authority over every tormenting spirit, every fear, and every sleepless night. The Word tells us in Psalm 91:5-6, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday." We claim this promise over your son, believing that God’s protection surrounds him like a shield.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment him. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We command every nightmare, every flashback, and every lie of the enemy to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that You would fill his mind with Your truth, Your love, and Your peace. Let Your presence be so tangible that sleep becomes a refuge rather than a battleground. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We pray this over him now.
Lord, we also ask for physical and emotional healing. PTSD is a heavy burden, but You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would restore his mind, calm his spirit, and renew his strength. Give him the courage to seek godly counsel, whether through biblical counseling, support groups, or medical professionals who honor You. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Surround him with believers who will speak life into him and remind him of Your promises.
We also lift up his faith. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him near. Salvation is the ultimate healing, and it is only through Jesus that he can experience true peace. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that he would come to know Jesus as his Savior and find rest in Him.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen this family as they walk through this trial. Give them patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Remind them that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is dark. Fill their home with Your peace, and let them sense Your presence in every moment.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that brings healing, protection, and peace. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
