We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask for Your divine healing touch to rest upon him, both physically and emotionally. Lord, we rebuke the lingering effects of PTSD in Jesus' name, declaring that by His stripes, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Heavenly Father, we also pray for Your protection to surround him like a shield. Guard his mind, heart, and spirit from the enemy’s attacks, for we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak peace over his nights, asking that You replace the nightmares with dreams of Your love and light. May he find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
Lord, we thank You for the comfort that only You can provide. Wrap Your arms around him in the darkest hours, reminding him that he is never alone. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him daily, renew his hope, and fill him with Your joy as he walks in Your presence.
We also encourage him to draw near to You through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May he find solace in Your Word, which is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we stand in the gap for this family, praying that You would restore what has been stolen and bring beauty from ashes. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be made manifest in his life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
