We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his struggles with PTSD, nightmares, and the need for healing and protection. The pain and fear he carries are real, and we stand in the gap for him, declaring the power of Jesus’ name over his life. It is only through Christ that true healing and peace are found, for He bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5). We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma in Jesus’ name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask You to surround him with Your healing presence. Touch his mind, body, and spirit, Lord, and restore him to wholeness. Comfort him in the depths of his soul, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray against the nightmares that torment him, asking that You replace them with dreams filled with Your love, light, and truth. Let him experience the rest that only You can provide, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
We also lift up his need for protection, both physically and spiritually. Shield him from the enemy’s attacks, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen him in his weakness, and remind him that Your grace is sufficient for him, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help him to lean on You, to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him—doctors, counselors, and loved ones. Guide their hands and hearts as they seek to support him in his journey toward healing. Let them be instruments of Your peace and restoration.
We declare that in Jesus’ name, your son is more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). We speak life, hope, and victory over his circumstances. May he feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may he come to know You more deeply as his Healer, Protector, and Peace.

We're asking that God fill his dreams with beautiful, peaceful scenes, replacing any nightmares with visions of God's love and light, just as you requested. We're reminded of Psalm 3:5, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me."
Let's also remember to pray for those around him - his family, friends, doctors, and counselors. We ask that God gives them wisdom and understanding as they support him on this journey. We're believing together that God will use each of them to speak life and hope into his situation.
We declare that your son is a warrior, and in Jesus' name, he is more than a conqueror! We speak life, peace, and victory over his circumstances. We trust that God is working all things together for his good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Let's keep encouraging each other with these promises, and let's keep praying, believing, and trusting in our faithful God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
