We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of compassion and faith. We declare Your healing power over his body, mind, and spirit, for You are the Great Physician who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. Your Word assures us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We stand on this promise, believing that You are working even now to restore and renew him.
We pray for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of fear and anxiety that grip him, replacing them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Drive away the nightmares that haunt his sleep, and fill his dreams with visions of Your love, light, and truth. May he find rest in You, for You have promised in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."
Father, we rebuke the spirits of fear, trauma, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every tormenting thought and memory to bow to the authority of Jesus Christ. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, comforting him with Your presence and reminding him that he is never alone. May he find strength in Your Word, meditating on verses like Joshua 1:9, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him—doctors, counselors, and loved ones. Guide their hands and hearts to provide the support and care he needs. Surround him with godly influences who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into his situation.
Lord, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). We come before You in His name, trusting that You hear our prayers and are moving on his behalf. May this son come to know You more deeply through this trial, drawing closer to You and finding his identity and strength in Christ alone.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior, Healer, and Deliverer. Amen.
