Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to pour out His healing balm upon every wound—seen and unseen—that PTSD has inflicted. The nightmares that disrupt his peace are not from God, for Scripture assures us that *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the tormenting spirits that seek to steal his rest and declare that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask You to surround him with Your angels as he sleeps, that no weapon formed against him—whether in the physical or spiritual realm—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your presence be so tangible in his dreams that the darkness flees, replaced by visions of Your goodness, mercy, and hope. *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet"* (Proverbs 3:24). We speak restoration over his mind, body, and soul, trusting that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5).

We also encourage your son to draw near to God, for the Lord promises, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray he would confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that true healing and eternal peace are found (Acts 4:12). May he find strength in Scripture, community in the body of Christ, and comfort in prayer.

Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, asking You to strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Give them patience, wisdom, and unwavering trust in Your timing. We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting your son up in prayer. We ask our Heavenly Father to wrap him in His loving arms, to comfort him and fill his dreams with peaceful, loving images. We claim the promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We trust that God is using this time to draw your ### closer to Him, and we pray for strength and resilience for your whole family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
