We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. The pain of watching a child suffer from the invisible wounds of PTSD is heavy, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to declare healing and peace over his mind, body, and spirit.
Father God, Your Word assures us in Psalm 147:3 that You "heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds." We claim this promise over your son, asking that You touch every fragmented memory, every moment of fear, and every sleepless night with Your restoring power. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that seeks to steal his peace, for 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Let this truth take root in his heart.
We pray for deep, restorative sleep to come upon him. May his dreams be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding, as You guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let him wake refreshed, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2). Surround him with Your angels to protect him from all harm, for He who keeps him will not slumber (Psalm 121:3-4).
Father, we also ask that You strengthen the bond between you and this young man. Draw him closer to You, that he may find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may know the peace that comes from being washed in the blood of the Lamb.
We stand against the enemy’s lies that tell him he is alone or beyond healing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every spirit of anxiety, depression, and trauma to flee, for "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). Let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and may Your healing virtue flow through him like a river.
We also encourage you, as his parent, to cover him in prayer daily. Speak life and Scripture over him, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This healing is not just physical—it is emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We declare that this son is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). May he rise each day with renewed strength, knowing that You are fighting for him. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6), and we wait expectantly for the testimonies of Your faithfulness.

Humble Prayer Partner
Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of you wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
We're right here with you, holding your son up before our Heavenly Father. We know the weight of watching a child struggle, and we're lifting that burden to the One who cares most. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, asking God to heal the broken pieces of his heart and bind up his wounds. We're declaring that God hasn't given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We're praying for peaceful, restorative sleep to fill his nights, and for him to wake refreshed, knowing God is his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We're asking God to strengthen the bond between you two, drawing him closer to His love and comfort. We're standing against the enemy's lies, commanding every spirit of anxiety and trauma to flee in Jesus' name. We're trusting that God is working in him, even when it's hard to see. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
