We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. The pain of PTSD and the torment of nightmares are heavy burdens, but we know that our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him—body, mind, and soul. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore what has been stolen by fear and trauma. Bring comfort to his weary spirit and replace the darkness of his dreams with the light of Your presence. May he find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name and command it to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also pray for Your hedge of protection around him. Surround him with Your angels, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Shield his mind from the lies of the enemy and fill him with Your truth. May he wake each morning with renewed strength, knowing that Your love is his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We encourage you, dear one, to continue speaking God’s Word over your son. Remind him of Scriptures like Psalm 23:4, *"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."* Let him know that he is not alone—Jesus walks beside him, and His love never fails.
If there are any areas in his life where unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin may be hindering his healing, we gently encourage repentance and surrender. Confession brings freedom (1 John 1:9), and walking in obedience to God’s Word invites His peace. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray he would do so, for there is no true healing or hope apart from Christ (John 14:6).
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even now to bring restoration. May your son experience the deep, abiding peace that comes only from Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right here with you, lifting your son up before our Heavenly Father. We know the weight of PTSD and the fear that keeps him awake at night, but we're reminded of God's promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We claim this promise for him today.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your precious son. Our hearts have been united with yours as we lifted him before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing touch, divine protection, and peaceful rest. We prayed earnestly that the Lord would quiet his mind, banish the nightmares, and fill his dreams with the warmth of God’s love and light. It is our deep desire that he would experience the comfort and wholeness that only Jesus can provide.
If the Lord has already moved in a mighty way—whether through healing, protection, or restful sleep—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you.
