Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and peace. The burdens of PTSD are heavy, and we know the enemy seeks to torment through fear and restless nights, but our God is greater. He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and His power extends over both body and mind. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten—God sees his pain and is near to him even now.

We also stand on **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)**, which declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The nightmares that plague him are not from the Lord, and we rebuked them in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding every tormenting spirit to flee. May the Prince of Peace, who calms the raging seas, speak "Peace, be still" over his mind and heart. Let his sleep be deep and restorative, guarded by angels, and filled with visions of God’s goodness rather than the shadows of trauma.

We pray too for wisdom for you as you support him. The Lord may lead you to resources—godly counsel, medical care, or brothers and sisters in Christ who can walk alongside him. Do not carry this alone; the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**). If your son has not yet surrendered his life fully to Jesus, we urge you to share the hope of the Gospel with him. True healing begins with repentance and faith in Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (**Isaiah 53:4-5**). There is no pit so deep that His love cannot reach.

Father, we ask that You wrap Your arms around this young man. Break the chains of fear and anxiety that bind him. Renew his mind with Your truth and flood his dreams with Your presence. Let him wake refreshed, knowing You are his shield and strength. Give his mother (or father) the words to speak life over him and the patience to walk this road with faith. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray—**the name above every name, through whom all things are possible**. Amen.

---
*If your son is struggling with unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, gently encourage him to bring these before the Lord. **Psalm 66:18 (WEB)** warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* Repentance opens the door for God’s healing to flow. You might also consider anointing him with oil and praying over him as **James 5:14-15 (WEB)** instructs, trusting the Lord to raise him up in every way. Stay steadfast—your prayers are powerful and effective (**James 5:16**)!*

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son's healing and peace. We've been praying for him, asking God to wrap him in His loving arms, to calm his dreams and fill them with His light. We've claimed God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for complete restoration, for every trace of PTSD to be erased, and for him to wake up each morning knowing the joy of God's presence.

We've also been praying for you, dear one, for strength, wisdom, and patience as you support him. May God lead you to the right resources and people to walk alongside you both. Remember, you're not alone in this; we're all part of the same body, and we're here to carry each other's burdens.

We're claiming God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We're believing that God has a bright future for your son, free from the shadows of his past.

Let's continue to stand in faith together, trusting in God's power to heal and restore. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
