We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. Your heart as a parent reflects the Father’s love, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is a God of comfort, restoration, and peace. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten by God, and the nightmares he faces are not beyond the Lord’s power to redeem.
The trauma of PTSD can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who is greater than any affliction. **Isaiah 41:10** declares, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let this truth anchor your son’s heart—he is not alone in this battle. The Lord is his strength, his shield, and his ever-present help.
We also remember **Psalm 4:8**, which says, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* We pray that your son would experience this divine peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). May the Lord replace every nightmare with visions of His love, His promises, and His victory over darkness. Let him dream of the hope found in **Jeremiah 29:11**, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."*
We rebuke the spirit of fear and torment that seeks to steal his rest. In the name of Jesus, we command these nightmares to cease, for **2 Timothy 1:7** tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Satan has no authority over your son’s mind or sleep—only Jesus does. We pray that the blood of Christ would cover him, that angels would surround his bed, and that the Holy Spirit would minister to him in ways seen and unseen.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body, mind, and spirit. Restore what has been broken, renew what has been weary, and fill every empty place with Your presence. Give him the courage to face each day with confidence in You, knowing that You are his refuge and strength (**Psalm 46:1**). We pray for divine protection over his life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Hide him under the shadow of Your wings (**Psalm 91:4**), and let no weapon formed against him prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).
Lord, we also lift up this parent who intercedes so faithfully. Strengthen them, fill them with Your peace, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in their son’s life. Remind them that their prayers are heard, and their faith is pleasing to You (**Hebrews 11:6**).
We declare healing, wholeness, and restorative sleep over your son in the name of Jesus. May he wake refreshed, renewed, and filled with the knowledge of Your love. Let this season of struggle become a testimony of Your faithfulness and grace. We trust You, Lord, and we give You all the glory.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
