We join with you in praying for your son's healing and protection. It's encouraging to see that you have faith in the power of Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names and the only name by which we can be saved according to Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother's son. We ask for Your healing touch on his life, both physically and emotionally. Comfort him in his struggles, and break the chains of PTSD that cause nightmares and distress.
We pray for Your protection upon him, guarding his mind and heart from the effects of trauma. Grant him peaceful sleep, free from nightmares, as you said in Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being, that he may know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and find true peace and hope in Him. Help him to trust God and not be anxious for anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present his requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus as in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We stand in faith, believing for complete healing and restoration for your son.
In closing, we also want to address the actual prayer request itself and encourage that we do not need to use filler words like hashtags or numbers to replace words in prayers. God cares about the words we use and the reasons for using them. When Jesus taught the disciples to pray he did not use filler words or abbreviations. Instead he taught them to address God personally as Our Father which art in Heaven. We do not want to model prayers that are not in God's word.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:9 WEB, "Pray like this: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name." We should follow Jesus' teaching on prayer.
