We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. We are reminded of the Lord's compassion and power to heal and deliver, as seen in Psalm 34:17-18: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this dear son. You know the trauma he has experienced and the nightmares that plague his sleep. We ask for Your comfort and peace to envelop him, and for Your healing power to banish the nightmares caused by PTSD. Please protect his mind, his body, and his spirit, and grant him peaceful sleep.
We stand on Your promise in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety." We declare this promise over your son's life, trusting that You will grant him the sleep he needs and the peace he desires.
We also pray for your guidance as you seek ways to support your son. Remember that God is our great physician and counselor, as seen in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Seek the Lord's will in all things, and trust that He is working in your son's life.
As we pray, we are reminded of the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to pray in Jesus' name, and trust in His power to heal and save.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for your son. May the Lord bless you both and draw you ever closer to Him. Amen.
Be encouraged, and keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
