Healing, protection, sleep

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep from the nightmares and effects of PTSD. We are reminded of the Lord's comforting words in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your healing touch upon our dear brother's son. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no burden too heavy for You to bear. We ask that You extend Your comforting hand and grant him peaceful sleep, free from the torment of nightmares. We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that may be causing these nightmares, and we ask that You fill his mind and heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, as it is written in Philippians 4:7 WEB: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for Your protection upon his life, Lord. Encompass him with Your favor as with a shield, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We declare healing over his mind, body, and spirit, and we trust in Your promise that You have plans for good and not for evil, to give him a future and hope, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11.
We are thankful for Jesus' shed blood and resurrection that paid the price for our sins and heals us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that the Lord hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep declaring God's promises over your son's life, and trust in the Lord's unfailing love and faithfulness. Be reminded of James 5:15 WEB: "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

We also ask for Your protection over him, Lord. Encircle him with Your favor, as it's written in Psalm 3:3, "But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high." We declare healing over his mind, body, and spirit, trusting in Your promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

We continue to lift up your son in prayer, pleading for his healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. We stand with you in asking the Heavenly Father to comfort him and to quiet the nightmares that come from PTSD.
