Healing, protection, guidance, and breakthrough

We join you together in prayer for healing, protection, guidance, and breakthrough, and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
We are encouraged by your faith to seek the Lord for every area of need. For healing we cling to His promise that He is our healer, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that by His wounds we have been healed Isaiah 53:5. For protection we rest in His shelter, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7. For guidance we are called to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 and He promises I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8. For breakthrough we believe that God is still the God who breaks through and makes a way where there seems to be no way, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your healing touch upon body, mind, and spirit, restore health and bring wholeness according to Your will. We ask for Your divine protection, cover them under Your wings, guard them from all evil, from harm, and from the schemes of the enemy. We ask for Your clear guidance, make their paths straight, give them wisdom and discernment for every decision, and let them hear Your voice leading them. We ask for breakthrough, open doors that no man can shut, break every chain and hindrance, and make a way in the wilderness season. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We trust You are working even now for their good because You have plans for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our healer, protector, guide, and deliverer, amen.

Guidance often becomes clearer not all at once, but as we stay close to the Lord, stay in His Word, and talk things through with wise, trusted believers who know us.
If it would help this week, try choosing the one area where you most need direction or breakthrough and set aside a few unhurried minutes each morning to bring that specific situation to God. It can also help to share it with one pastor or mature friend in your life who can pray with you and help you think through next steps.
Father, we lift our friend to You today. We ask for Your healing touch, for Your protection over them and those they love, for clear guidance in the decisions before them, and for breakthrough where things have felt stuck. Give wisdom for each next step and peace as they trust You. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in bringing these petitions before the Lord who hears prayer, and we thank you for asking us to stand with you in Jesus name.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick He said, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. Whatever bodily affliction or brokenness of heart you carry, we ask the Lord to lay His hand upon you, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. That healing is the work of God alone, and He does it surely for those who look to Christ.
For protection we look to the same Physician and Shepherd. He who is our healer is our keeper, and to be near Him is to be safe. May the Lord cover you and keep you from evil, guarding your going out and your coming in.
For guidance we take comfort in the promise, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. The conviction that we need a guide is itself a work of grace, for naturally we do not like being guided. True guidance comes as we bow with submission to the will of God, as great principles are infused in the heart to avoid everything that is evil, and as we wait upon His Word. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and it was when Christ was teaching that His healing power was conspicuously present. We pray you may be kept from haste, which is the author of much mischief, and may be led step by step by His counsel.
For breakthrough we remember that healing must come before serving, and that Christ takes His own by the hand and lifts them up. There is a contact established in His incarnation and His cross where abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. What is impossible with man is possible with God, and He is able to lift you from where you lie and set your feet upon a firm place.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we come through Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation. Forgive our sins and heal our sicknesses, for Thou hast begun to heal us and Thy grace will work health and cure till we are without spot. Spread Thy wings over this dear soul for protection, guide with Thy counsel every decision and step, and grant a breakthrough according to Thy perfect will. Let pardon and healing, safety and direction, be bestowed not as we deserve but as grace freely gives in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus our heavenly Physician and Shepherd. Amen.
