Thank you for sharing your request for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough. We are joining you in prayer and bringing these needs before the Lord.
We believe God still heals today, and He heals in many different ways. Sometimes healing comes instantly, sometimes it comes gradually over time. Sometimes Jesus healed with a touch, sometimes only with a word, sometimes even from a distance. He is not limited to one pattern. All true healing comes from Him, whether it is a sudden work or the steady process He has built into our bodies. Nature itself is His creation, and the healing that comes through natural processes is still divine. He also brings healing to the mind and heart, mending wounds and scars that are not physical.
Scripture tells us that Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, as prophesied in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4 and applied to Him in Matthew chapter 8. He went about doing good and healing sickness and disease, and He also showed His power over the winds and sea and His authority over spiritual powers. That same power is still His, and we can trust Him with every part of our lives.
At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others are not, and we should not assume that a delay means there is sin in a life or a lack of faith. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it. It is wrong to place that kind of burden on those who are waiting for healing. We simply bring our needs to the Lord in honest faith and leave the outcome in His wise and loving hands. True faith is not a show or a frenzy, it is a quiet trust that releases itself to Him and looks to Him to work in His way and time.
For your protection we pray that the Lord who has authority in every realm will keep you. For guidance we ask that He will make His way clear to you and lead your steps. For breakthrough we ask that He will open doors that no one else can open and work where you feel stuck.
We pray for you now. Father, we lift up this one who has asked for healing, protection, guidance and breakthrough. Lay Your hand upon any sickness or pain and bring Your healing according to Your will, whether quickly or through a gradual process. Heal also any wounds of heart and mind. Surround this life with Your protection, guard from evil, and keep in Your care. Give clear guidance and wisdom for each decision, and grant breakthrough where there has been hindrance or waiting. Strengthen faith to rest in You and to keep trusting You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.
