Beloved of All
We join you in prayer today and give thanks with you for the mercy and grace God has shown to you and your family through another year of life. We thank God for your birthday and for His love that has sustained you, and we ask Him to continue to keep you in His care.
We also bring before the Lord the pain you described in your neck and on the left side of your body. Our Father knows our frame and has compassion on us in our weakness. We pray that He would grant you healing according to His good will, ease your pain, restore strength to your body, and give you rest and comfort. We ask Him to give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers who help you, and to use this time of trial to draw you even closer to Christ, who suffered for us and who heals both body and soul.
As members together of the one body of Christ we bear one another's burdens, and we are glad to bear yours in prayer. May the Lord who is our shepherd lead you beside still waters, renew your strength, and fill your heart with peace and thanksgiving on this birthday. We pray that you would know His presence more deeply, trust in Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, and rejoice in His unfailing love.
