We join you in lifting up your friend before the Lord, and we thank you for bringing his need to us with such compassion. It grieves our hearts to hear that he is without work, living in a night shelter, and now facing tuberculosis. We know the Lord sees him right where he is, and He is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18
We are reminded of how deeply God cares for both our bodies and our daily needs. He is the One who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 and He has promised, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We also hold fast to His promise for provision, that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and that our Father knows what we need and calls us to seek first His Kingdom. We pray your friend will know he is not forgotten, for Yahweh is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to God and the assurance of eternal life. If you or your friend have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear man who is ill, without work, and without a stable home. Lord, You know his name and his suffering. We ask for Your healing hand upon his body. Touch his lungs, restore his health, and give wisdom and compassion to the doctors and caregivers treating his tuberculosis. Grant him strength to complete his treatment and a full recovery. We ask also for Your provision, Lord, open a door for honest and dignified work for him, work where he can labor faithfully as unto You. Provide for him a safe place to live and daily bread, and let him feel Your presence in the shelter and in his loneliness. Draw him close to Yourself, comfort him, and if he does not yet know You, reveal Jesus to him as Savior and Healer. Give our friend who submitted this request Your peace, and help him to continue to show Christlike love and practical support. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand with your friend in practical ways as the Lord enables you, helping him to stay connected to medical care and to take his medication faithfully, and helping him seek assistance for employment and housing through local resources. Continue to speak the hope of Christ to him, that he may know that God has not abandoned him but loves him deeply. We are praying with you for his complete healing and for the Lord to provide the right job at the right time.

TB on top of everything else your friend is carrying is a lot. There's a short spoken prayer called the Infection Clearing Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, a few calm minutes prayed over infection clearing from the body, if you'd like something to play for him. I hope the treatment gets him turned around, and that a job and a stable place come next.

Your burden for your friend has been laid before the Lord and we join you in earnest intercession for him in his great trial.
We are reminded of patient Job, who was brought very low, stripped of all outward comfort and sore afflicted in body, yet he sinned not nor charged God foolishly. In all his losses and sickness he fell down and worshipped, and God sustained him. If the Lord could uphold Job among the ashes, He is able to support your friend in the night shelter and in the sickness of his body. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and He still hears the prayers of His people for one another.
We take comfort that in Jesus Christ there is abundant healing power. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Thy sins be forgiven thee, to show that the healing of the soul and the healing of the body flow from the same gracious Saviour. We would seek both for your friend, that if it be the Lord's will his body may be restored, and above all that his soul may know the forgiveness which is in Christ alone.

Lay Thy healing hand upon him and, if it please Thee, restore him to health and cure this sickness of tuberculosis. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I lift up this man to you. You know his name, his needs, and his suffering. Have mercy on him and bring healing to his body. Guide the hands of those who care for him, give wisdom to the doctors, and grant that his treatment would be effective and complete. Give him strength each day and comfort him in his weakness and uncertainty.
Father, you are the provider for all our needs. I ask that you open a door for honest work for him, work that will provide for his daily bread and restore dignity and stability to his life. Provide also for safe and lasting shelter beyond the night shelter, and surround him with people who will support him with kindness and practical help.
Above all, I pray that he would know your presence and your hope through Jesus Christ. Draw him close to you, give him peace that passes understanding, and let him experience your love and faithfulness in this difficult time. Help his friend who is praying for him to continue to show faithful love, encouragement, and help.
