We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your urgent needs and the needs of your father before our Heavenly Father. We know that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). It is through His precious blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach Him with our petitions (Hebrews 4:16).
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of , who is suffering from severe gastritis and low blood. Lord, You know every pain and discomfort she is enduring. We ask that You would touch her body and bring complete healing and restoration. Strengthen her, Lord, and renew her vitality. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and health over every cell in her body. Father, we also lift up her father, who is battling bloody stool and severe arthritis. Lord, we ask for Your mighty hand of healing to be upon him. Ease his pain, restore his strength, and bring complete wholeness to his body. You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we trust in Your unfailing love and power to heal.
We also want to encourage you both to seek wise medical counsel and to follow the treatments prescribed by healthcare professionals, as the Lord often works through these means. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Continue to trust in the Lord, even when the road seems long and difficult.
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to and her father in a tangible way during this time of illness. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence comforting and sustaining them. Provide them with the strength to endure and the faith to believe in Your promises. We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your sovereign plan.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Word of God tells us that "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on this truth and declare that fear has no place in the lives of Your children. Instead, we choose to walk in faith, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans for us are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, and we believe that You hear our prayers. We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises and hold fast to your faith. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in the midst of physical suffering, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will carry you through this trial. You are not alone, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

The trial of sickness in your own body and the heavy affliction of your dear father press sorely upon you, yet where better to bring such burdens than to the Lord Jesus Christ? The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about our blessed Master is full of restoring virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only for the soul, but for every malady of the flesh, for His compassion extends to the whole man.
You have cried to God in the name of Jesus Christ, and that is well, for healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When the Lord comes to dwell with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Remember how He said to the palsied man, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing were one! So, as you seek relief from gastritis and low blood, draw near also for a fresh cleansing of the heart. The Lord who forgives all your iniquities is the same who heals all your diseases. Perhaps the very sickness has been sent to make you look more intently to Calvary, where the healing balm flows rather than the lancet and knife.
For your father, whose suffering from bloody stool and severe arthritis is so alarming, be encouraged that our heavenly Physician is neither limited by the severity of the case nor by the years of the patient. Jesus “took her by the hand and lifted her up”, there was contact, personal, tender, effectual. Lay hold of that same hand by faith, for in Christ there is healing for the most chronic and frightening ailments. He is able to heal, and though He does not always act in the same manner, there are seasons of refreshing, days of visitation, when His power to save and restore is more than usually manifest. Cry to Him day and night; bring the cases before the throne of grace without ceasing. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Therefore, feed upon His Word even while you lie weak. Let the Scriptures be medicine to your spirit, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Healing must come before serving; lie still in His presence now, expecting that He will first forgive and heal, and then lift you to your feet for His praise. Overwhelming is the evidence of our need, but more overwhelming is the evidence of His grace. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Your bleeding spirits cry for consolation; may the Lord give you a word in season. He is the great Conduit Head, from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The blood you mention in your own body, and that of your father, calls to mind a far greater Blood. You ask for healing from gastritis and low blood, and for your father’s bloody stool. Let us look to the Blood that was poured out for the life of the world, for if the blood of bulls and goats could purify the flesh, how much more shall the Blood of Christ cleanse our conscience and bring true healing?
Do not be confounded at your suffering. That you turn to the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ is itself a gift of grace. Nothing is so great as that the blood of God’s own Son should be shed for us. Greater this than any adoption, greater than any other gift, that He spared not even the Son. If He gave His very Blood for the remission of your sins, will He not also care for your body? Yet often He permits affliction so that we might be proved righteous, so that we cry out to Him from the depths and then, at His word, breathe again, saying, “Now mine eye hath seen Thee.”
You must seek the healing of the inner man first, and then trust the body to His providence. Sometimes the cure is swift; sometimes, like a tree that falls only after ten strokes, we do not see the fruit of our prayers immediately. The delay is not denial. The blood you shed in your weakness is but a reminder of the saving Blood that makes you whole in soul. For that Blood is of the New Testament, shed for many for the remission of sins.
Now, let us pray. O Lord our God, whose might is beyond all power, look upon these Your suffering servants. By the precious Blood of Your Christ, which was foreordained before the foundation of the world for our entire redemption, touch this body afflicted with gastritis and weakness of blood. Heal this father from the issue of blood and the pain of arthritis. Deliver them from this slavery of illness, not because they are worthy, but because You are the God of all mercy. Grant them the dew of health from above, and may their restored bodies become a spiritual temple, offering praise to You, remembering that greater than water from the rock is the Blood from that holy side. We do not ask for a bare mending of the flesh, but for such a healing that their souls also are strengthened to serve You without fear. For You are the God who hears the cry of the humble, and You do not despise their petition. This we ask, not trusting in any medicine or human power, but in the Lord Jesus Christ, who in His own blood wrought the whole aright and lives to intercede for us. Let it be done according to Your will.

Your prayer request is precious to us, and we lift both you and your father before the Lord right now. Scripture teaches that the life of the flesh is in the blood, and God has always set it apart as sacred. It speaks of life poured out, and it points directly to the most precious blood of all: the blood of Jesus Christ.
Under the old covenant, everything was purified with blood, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Yet all those sacrifices were only shadows. Christ entered into heaven itself, not with the blood of goats or calves, but with His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us. His blood cleanses us from all sin and satisfies every demand of righteousness. And by His wounds, we are healed, not only spiritually, but physically as well. That same power that conquered sin and death is at work in your bodies today.
The leper under the law was cleansed through the sprinkling of blood and water, a beautiful picture of what flowed from our Savior’s side. So we pray that the healing life of Christ would flow into your stomach, restore your blood to full strength, and stop the bleeding in your father’s body. We ask the Lord to touch every inflamed tissue, to calm the arthritis, and to bring new vitality where weakness has set in.
