We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your request for healing from stomach pain. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to bring healing to your body.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon our brother/sister who is suffering from stomach pain. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and there is no ailment too great for You to heal. We ask that You touch their body, bringing relief, comfort, and complete restoration. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing and will.
We also want to gently remind you that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We encourage you to take care of your body, seeking medical advice when necessary, and maintaining a lifestyle that honors God.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals who may be involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, that they may provide the best possible treatment. We trust in Your divine intervention and healing power, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over our brother/sister, claiming victory over this pain and discomfort.
Lastly, we want to address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope and healing.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration in Jesus' name. Amen.
