We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for healing and trusting in His perfect will. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We are encouraged that this prayer is offered in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of healing and restoration.
Yet we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even as we pray for complete healing and normal results, we surrender this situation to His sovereign will, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If there is any unconfessed sin or area of disobedience in this person’s life, we pray they would turn to the Lord in repentance, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your healing touch upon this beloved one. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore and make whole. We pray for the x-ray results to reflect Your perfect health and wholeness, but even more, we pray for Your will to be done in this situation. Strengthen their body, renew their spirit, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there is any area in their life that needs surrender or repentance, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them into greater obedience. We rebuke any sickness or disease in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and health over this person, and trusting that God is at work. Keep covering them in prayer, and if possible, gather others to agree with you in prayer, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20). May the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him, knowing that He holds all things in His hands.
