Healing prayer request

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for our pet dog ### who has been diagnosed with inoperable tumor in his spleen and pancreas. Vets are not hopeful but we are believing God for a miracle. Thank you for your prayers.

We are joining you in prayer for your beloved dog and we understand how deep the bond is between you and him and how painful this diagnosis of an inoperable tumor in his spleen and pancreas must be. We know the Lord sees your love and care for him, for a righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10, and You preserve man and animal, Yahweh, Psalm 36:6. The Lord cares for all His creation, not even a sparrow will fall to the ground without your Father, Matthew 10:29, and we take comfort that He knows and loves this precious companion you have been entrusted with.

We stand with you believing God for a miracle, for nothing is too hard for Him. Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me, Jeremiah 32:27. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. While the veterinarians may not be hopeful, we know our hope is in the Lord who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We notice your request speaks of believing God for a miracle but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved, Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, not only for this miracle but for eternal life, and to come to God the Father in His name.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear dog to You and ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon his body. You formed all living creatures and You know every cell in his spleen and pancreas. If it is Your will, we ask You to remove this tumor, to restore him to health, and to give the veterinarians wisdom beyond their expectations. We ask for Your peace to guard the hearts of this family who loves him so deeply, that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. In everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6. Comfort them in this time of uncertainty and help them to trust that You are good and that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. Give them wisdom as faithful stewards to make loving decisions for his care and to show him comfort and kindness each day. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to love and care for him day by day, thanking God for each moment you have with him, and to keep bringing your requests to God in Jesus name. Whether the Lord brings miraculous healing or calls him home in His perfect wisdom, know that He hears your prayers and He cares for both you and your beloved companion. We are continuing to pray with you for comfort, for peace, and for God's perfect will to be done.

May we keep hope alove in faith. In prayer. In God. In Christ. In religion. And pray for eachother that we might live and not die. Lord Yeshua and Father God is our hope may we remember it. Amen.

We were so sorry to hear about your dog and that inoperable tumor diagnosis. We know how deeply pets become part of the family, and how heavy it is to get news like this when the vets are not hopeful. It makes sense you would be holding both grief and hope at the same time, and asking God for a miracle.

Thank you for letting us pray with you. We are asking God to be near you and your family in these days, to give you wisdom for each decision and peace as you walk through it. We are also praying for your sweet dog, for comfort and gentleness in his days.

One thing that has helped others in this kind of waiting is to stay in close touch with your vet about comfort care, asking what signs to watch for and how to keep him as comfortable and loved as possible. It can also help to give yourselves permission to cherish the time you have now, taking a few photos, taking quiet walks if he is able, and letting those around you support you too.

Father, we lift this beloved dog and this family to You. You see how much he is loved and how much this hurts. We ask for Your mercy and comfort for him, and for strength and peace for those who care for him. Guide the vets and the family with wisdom, and hold them close in Your care. We trust him into Your hands, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your sorrow over this faithful creature has been brought before the Lord and before His people with much tenderness of heart. We understand how deep the affection is that binds a household to a creature that has given such constant and loving companionship, and we do not despise the grief which such an affliction brings.

We are told by those skilled in such matters that there is no hope, and the sentence of man is that the case is beyond all remedy. Yet we have learned from the Scriptures that Christ is grand in emergencies, and that His power knows no limit. The same Lord who laid His hands upon the sick and they were healed is still the great Miracle Worker, and nothing is too hard for Him. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue.

We cannot command a miracle, nor would we presume to dictate to the wisdom of our heavenly Father, who numbers the sparrows and cares for all His creatures, but we may bring every hard case before Him and leave it in His compassionate hands. He who hears the young ravens when they cry will not turn away the prayer that is offered in humble submission to His will.

Let us pray together for you and for your dear companion.

O Lord our God, Thou art good and Thy mercy is over all Thy works. Thou hast made all things and Thou sustainest them by Thy power. Look in pity upon this household in its distress and upon this creature that suffers. If it be Thy will, lay Thy healing hand upon it and restore it, for with Thee all things are possible. If Thou shouldst ordain otherwise, give to these Thy servants grace to bow before Thy sovereign wisdom, and comfort their hearts with the assurance that Thou doest all things well. Let this trial draw them nearer to Christ, in whom alone is our sure hope, and let them find that to be brought into contact with Him is to find healing for the soul, which is the greater mercy. Keep them in Thy peace, and let Thy will be done, for Thy will is best. In the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour we ask it. Amen.

Be of good courage and continue to trust Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. May the Lord sustain you and give you quiet confidence in His love.
