We hear your cry and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Lord together, for He cares deeply for you and for your husband and your family.
We understand how heavy this feels, the constant anxiety, the loud ringing in your ears and trouble hearing, the high blood pressure and the new medication that has not yet brought relief, and that feeling of being a mental cripple and not knowing what is wrong or what to do. You are not alone and you are not forgotten. The Lord sees you in this struggle and He is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We want to encourage you to keep casting all of your anxiety on Him, even moment by moment, and to continue to work closely with your doctors about your blood pressure and anxiety medications, for God often brings healing through wisdom and treatment while He is also our ultimate healer. Do not be discouraged if peace does not come instantly, keep bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. That anxiety you feel is not your identity, the Lord wants to replace fear with His power and love and a sound mind.
We also notice you cried out many times to Lord, and we want to gently share how precious it is that we come to the Father through Jesus Christ alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every prayer, for there is power and peace in His name.
We lift up your marriage with thanksgiving, for marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman for life, and we pray God will strengthen it. We pray you and your husband will grow in health, in patience, in love and in unity, that fighting will be replaced with kindness and understanding. Ephesians 4:2-3 says with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And Colossians 3:14 says Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
We also join you in praying for your sisters and their families, that the Lord would touch each one with His healing and peace.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up our sister to You. Lord You know her anxiety that feels unbearable, the ringing in her ears, the loss of hearing, the high blood pressure and the weariness in her mind and body. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask for Your healing for her body and mind, for calm to her nervous system, for relief from the ringing and restoration of hearing, for stable blood pressure and for the medications to work as needed under the doctors care. Lord grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. When she feels she cannot take anymore, uphold her, for Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray for her husband as well, for his health and for their marriage. Pour out Your love between them, help them to speak to each other with grace, to forgive quickly, to love deeply and to not fight but to build each other up. Let their marriage honor You and be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We pray for her sisters and their families, that You would bring healing, protection, unity and salvation to each household, that they would all know You and walk in Your peace.
We thank You Lord that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. Help our sister to keep seeking You daily in prayer and in Your Word, to rest in Your promises, and to know that You are working even when she cannot feel it. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, Amen.
