We join you in lifting up your beloved dog before the Lord in this time of pain and concern for his neck and his difficulty lowering his head. We understand how deeply you love him and how hard it is to watch him suffer even while he is receiving medication from the veterinarian.
We are comforted that our God cares for all His creation. Scripture reminds us of His tender care for animals, for it is written Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man respects the life of his animal, and also Psalm 36:6 Yahweh, you preserve man and animal. Jesus Himself taught us how attentive the Father is to even the smallest creatures when He said Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father. If He notices the sparrow, how much more does He see your dear companion in his discomfort and see your loving concern as his caretakers.
We also want to gently share something important with you out of love. You asked for God's healing touch but did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. We come to God only through Jesus Christ, for Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we have access to God in prayer and the assurance of eternal life. We encourage you to place your trust in Him and to bring every need to the Father in Jesus name.
We pray together for your dog now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for creating all living things and for the companionship and joy You give us through animals. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear dog who is suffering with neck pain. Lord, ease his pain, reduce any inflammation or injury, and restore his ability to move his head and neck without discomfort. We pray Psalm 147:3 over him, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds, and we ask You to bind up what is hurting in his body. Give wisdom to the veterinarian and to those caring for him, guide the use of the medication, and grant clear direction if further treatment or rest is needed. Grant him peaceful rest, comfort, and a quick recovery. We also pray for his family, that You would give them peace as they wait, for it is written Philippians 4:6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Let Your peace guard their hearts as they trust You. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing your beloved dog before the throne of grace in prayer. It is a tender thing to watch a creature under our care suffer pain and find no ease, even after the vet has done what skill and medicine can do, and still he cannot put his head to the ground without hurt.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and the Lord who made all creatures is not unmindful of their suffering. He is the Good Physician, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When suffering leaves the soul at its wit's end, God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro, for it is a prevailing prayer when it comes from a heart near to distress.
Let us pray together. Our gracious Father, we thank You that You are pitiful and full of compassion, and that Your comfort suits our present place and position. We bring this dear dog before You, who is in pain in his neck and body. You see his difficulty and his distress, and You know our love and care for him. We ask for Your healing touch upon him, to ease his pain, to restore his strength and movement, and to bless the medication and the hands that seek to help him. Give wisdom to the vet for further care, and give peace and comfort to those who watch and wait with anxious hearts. May Your tender mercy be over all Your works, and may this trial draw us nearer to You, trusting that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our hope and our healer. Amen.
