We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in fervent prayer. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every hair on our heads. We acknowledge that Your will is perfect, and we trust in Your sovereignty, even in this deeply painful and uncertain time. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###, whether by miraculous restoration or by the gentle release of his spirit into Your eternal care. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that nothing is too hard for You.

We also pray for the family and loved ones surrounding ###. Comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 assures us. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. If there are any unconfessed sins, fears, or doubts weighing on their hearts, we ask that You bring them into the light and grant repentance and renewal. Help them to lean not on their own understanding but to trust in You with all their hearts, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life over ### and command his body to align with Your perfect will. If it is Your plan for him to wake from this coma, we ask for complete restoration, body, mind, and spirit. If it is Your will to call him home, we pray for a peaceful transition and that his loved ones would find solace in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we must also address the importance of salvation, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. If ### or any of his loved ones have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross. Your Word says in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask that You would soften hearts and open eyes to the truth of the Gospel.

We commit ### into Your loving hands, trusting that Your plans for him are good, even when we cannot see the full picture. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We heard your heart in this request and we are standing with you in prayer for ### and for all of you who love ###. Waiting while someone is in a coma in critical condition leaves you feeling so helpless, and your trust that God is in control and that His will be done even now is a steady anchor in such hard hours.

We are praying for healing and comfort for ###, for wisdom and steady hands for the doctors and nurses caring for ###, and for peace and strength for you and your family as you keep vigil. It can help to have one family member be the main contact with the medical team and to write down what the doctors share, so you can remember details later when you are tired. If you are able, let others help with meals, sitting with you, or giving you breaks to rest and step away for a little while.

Father, we lift this man to You and ask for Your mercy and healing according to Your will. Be near to ### in that hospital room, guide those caring for ###, and surround ###'s family with Your peace that holds them hour by hour. Give them rest, comfort and clear wisdom for each decision that comes. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We have received your burden and we join you at the throne of grace on behalf of this dear one who lies in critical condition in a coma.

We know, as you have so rightly said, that God is in control and His will shall be done. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so we rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Therefore we bow with you and pray, Father, thy will be done on earth even as it is in heaven.

We entreat the Lord for healing of the body, for it is His prerogative to heal and He delights to exercise it. He healeth the broken in heart, He will do it. None else can, but He will. We cast this burden upon Him, for He knows our sorrows and He will bear them, and we open this afflicted heart before Him that He may heal it. We pray that if it be His gracious will, He would lay His hand upon this sufferer and raise him up, and that the healing virtue of His grace would work health and cure.

And while we pray for the body, we pray also for the soul, for all need healing and the leaves of the tree of life are provided for that healing. The Lord has revealed that He will save those who put their trust in Him, and that faith must look for salvation only from the Lord. We pray that this dear one, and all who love him, may be found trusting wholly in Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other. To trust Him is to be reconciled to God, and conversion is the manifestation of Christ's healing power.

We pray for you and for the family who watch and wait in this trial. May the Lord who will come to our deliverance in the time of trouble bestow upon you peace that passes understanding, keep your hearts from fear, and make you to feel that His will is good and wise even when it is hidden from our eyes. His promise may tarry, but it never fails. May you be enabled to trust Him not only for this present mercy, but as you will have to keep on trusting Him in all future life.

We commit this beloved one into the hands of the Great Physician, asking for mercy, for healing if the Lord wills, and above all for the eternal health of the soul which His grace alone can give, world without end.

May the Lord hear our prayer, forgive sin, heal disease, and keep you all in His tender care. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have received your request and we join you in prayer for ### in this critical hour. We know how heavy it is to see a loved one in a coma, and we thank you for your faith in declaring that God is in control and that His will be done.

We bring ### before the Lord, who is full of compassion and who gives even to those who do not ask. We pray that the Lord, who is the true physician and healer, would lay His hand upon ###, grant wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for him, and bring healing to his body according to His perfect will. We pray also for you and your family, that God would give you peace, strength, and comfort as you wait upon Him, and that you would not be troubled but would rest in the confidence that none of His promises will fail.

We are reminded that this life is a house of healing where we come to hear the word of the Lord and to have His law written on our hearts. Even hearing His word brings profit, for it leads us to trust Him more deeply. We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him, to listen to His word, and to trust in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for in Him we have forgiveness, life, and hope both now and forever.

We are praying that the Lord would restore ### if it be His will, and above all that His name would be glorified and His will accomplished. May the Lord surround you and your family with His presence and keep you in His peace.

We are joining you in prayer for your loved one in this critical hour, and we thank you for the faith you expressed that God is in control and that His will be done. That is the right place to rest.

There is much about healing that we do not fully understand. If it were up to us, we would heal everyone we love, yet God sees what we cannot see and His wisdom is far above ours. Scripture shows us this. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove his thorn in the flesh, and the Lord did not remove it but answered with grace and strength in another way. To assume that God must bring physical healing in every case is not what the Bible teaches, though we know He is able to heal and often does.

We do believe very strongly in healing, and that healing is for today. The prophet Isaiah said that the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows, and the word there can be translated infirmities and sicknesses. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, tells us that Jesus fulfilled that word when He healed all who were brought to Him in the evening at Peter's house. He bore our sicknesses as well as our sins, and when Jesus broke the bread and said this is My body which is broken for you, He was pointing to that provision for the whole person.

Healing can come in different ways. There is one healing in the ministry of Jesus that happened gradually, which reminds us that not all healing is instant. Much healing comes through the processes God Himself has built into our bodies, and through the skill He gives to doctors and nurses. That kind of healing is no less divine because it uses natural means. God created nature and He created the processes of nature. We also believe there is healing that is physical, and healing that is emotional and spiritual. The Lord can touch the body, and He can also bring peace to the mind and heart, calm fear, and heal the wounds and scars that suffering brings to a family.

The Bible also reminds us that the body has many members and not all have the same gifts, including the gifts of healing. We all have a part in praying and caring, but the outcome rests with the Lord. We should not take a beautiful personal wish like that of John for Gaius, that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers, and turn it into an absolute promise that everyone will be healed if we claim it. It does show, however, that God cares for the whole person and that there is a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. As the proverb says, a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we are learning more and more how true that is.

So we are praying for your loved one now, asking the Lord in Jesus name to lay His hand upon him in that coma, to work through every medical effort, to restore and strengthen his body according to His perfect will, whether that be through a sudden touch or through a gradual process. We are praying for wisdom and steady hands for those caring for him, and for deep peace and strength for you and your family as you wait upon the Lord. Above all we pray for the healing that matters most, that each heart involved would know the forgiveness and life that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, and would experience His comfort in this difficult time.

We trust Him with the outcome, whether He brings recovery here or brings complete and final healing in His presence. He loves you, He hears your prayers, and He will do what is best. May the Lord sustain you and keep you close to Him in these days.
