We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up sweet Dixie and her battle with a spinal tumor. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mothers’ wombs and holds every cell of our bodies in Your sovereign hands. We declare Your Word over Dixie: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). Lord, we ask for complete healing, may Your healing power flow through her body, dissolving this tumor and restoring every affected part of her spine. Guide the hands of the surgeons with divine precision, that they may operate with wisdom and skill beyond their own understanding.
We also pray for Dixie’s emotional and spiritual strength during this trial. Children often sense fear even when we try to shield them from it, so we ask that You comfort her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways, through the love of her family, the prayers of the saints, and the assurance that she is never alone.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that may be gripping this family. We declare that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith to trust in Your goodness, even when the path is uncertain. Remind them that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and that this trial is not in vain.
We also lift up Dixie’s parents and loved ones, who are carrying this burden alongside her. Grant them endurance, wisdom, and moments of rest in Your presence. May they find their hope anchored in You, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Provide for every practical need, whether it’s financial, logistical, or emotional, and let them see Your provision in miraculous ways.
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on this promise and declare healing over Dixie’s body. May this trial draw her family closer to You and bring glory to Your name. We trust You, Father, and we wait expectantly for Your mighty hand to move.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
