I rejoice with you in the praise you are giving to Jesus for His provision and protection over your granddaughter and her children. It is right to thank Him, for He is our Shepherd and we do not lack any good thing. He makes us to lie down in green pastures and leads us beside still waters. He restores our souls. The name Jehovah Jireh means the Lord will see to it, and He truly sees the needs of your granddaughter and will provide.
We can ask with confidence that He would open the door to employment that allows her to care for her family without being overwhelmed. He knows the weight of a demanding situation, and He is able to give her favor and a place where she can thrive. The same God who delivered His people from Egypt with an outstretched arm can make a way where there seems to be no way. As you have already declared, she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her.
I hear your heart concerning her mother. It is no small thing when a close relative becomes a source of heaviness rather than support. Scripture gives us examples of mothers whose influence was harmful, and it reminds us that we must keep ourselves in the love of God. It is possible to remove ourselves from the place of God’s protection by clinging to bitterness or fear, but your request shows a desire to bless the mother even while asking for boundaries. That is a reflection of God’s own heart. He desires that all come to repentance, yet He also is a shield around His children. He can restrain what would harm and work in the mother’s life in His own way and time.
Rather than trying to orchestrate the separation ourselves, we ask the Lord to keep your granddaughter and her children in the shadow of His wings. He is able to save them from the snares of the enemy and from the strife of tongues. Commit them into His care, and trust that He knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation while holding the proud at a distance.
The ten days Jeremiah waited for the Lord’s answer remind us that sometimes we must be still before Him. He hears every petition lifted in Jesus’ unmatched name. My prayer with you is that Jehovah Jireh would provide the ideal job, that His presence would be tangible in their home, and that His peace would stand guard over all relationships involved. Keep your eyes on the One who is our righteousness, our peace, and our provider. He will not fail you.
