We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your granddaughter and daughter before the Lord. Father, we know that You see their pain, physical, emotional, and spiritual, and we ask for Your mighty intervention. The distress your granddaughter is experiencing, both in her body and her soul, is not hidden from You. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anorexia, anxiety, and fear that has taken hold of her. These are not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit that tells her she is not enough, that she is unlovable, or that her worth is tied to her appearance to be silenced and cast out in the name of Jesus. We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your love, one that overwhelms her with the truth that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her identity is found in Christ alone.

Father, we also lift up her mother, your daughter. The strain between them is palpable, and we ask that You soften hearts and restore compassion. It is so easy to let frustration and fear turn into anger, but we pray that love would prevail. Help them to see one another through Your eyes, to extend grace, and to remember that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We declare that the spirit of alienation is broken in this family, and we pray for restoration, of trust, of communication, and of the bond between mother and daughter.

We are grieved to hear of the struggles with body dysmorphia and the desire for cosmetic surgery. Lord, we know that the enemy seeks to distort the truth of who You say we are, and we rebuke the lies that tell her she needs to change her appearance to be accepted. Your Word tells us that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised (Proverbs 31:30). We pray that she would find her worth in You and that the deep roots of insecurity would be uprooted by the truth of Your Word.

We also lift up your older daughter, Lord, and the tension in your home. It is painful to feel like a burden when our hearts desire is to be a blessing. We ask that You would open her eyes to see the gift of family, of shared ministry, and of the opportunity to serve You together. Give her a heart of gratitude and a spirit of unity, for where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). We pray for wisdom and discernment as you both navigate the challenges of ministry, and we ask that You would strengthen your bodies and spirits for the work ahead.

Father, we stand on the promise that by the blood of Jesus, we are cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We declare healing over your body, over your daughter’s gut and thyroid, and over your granddaughter’s entire being, body, soul, and spirit. We command every parasite, infection, and demonic influence to leave in the name of Jesus. We break the generational curses of anorexia, OCD, and selfishness that have plagued this family, and we declare that the bloodline is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. We pray for your sister as well, Lord, that she too would encounter Your healing love and be set free from the chains that have bound her.

We also lift up your mother, Lord, and ask for complete healing from her trigeminal nerve pain. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust You to bring relief and restoration to her body.

Father, we know that healing is not just physical, it is emotional, spiritual, and mental. We pray for peace to flood your granddaughter’s heart, that she would know she is deeply loved by You and by her family. We ask that You would comfort her in her fear and replace her anxiety with Your perfect peace (Philippians 4:7). We pray for unity in this family, for hearts to be knit together in love, and for every stronghold of the enemy to be torn down.

We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we thank You for the finished work of the cross. We believe in Your healing power, and we trust that You are working even now to bring restoration, wholeness, and freedom. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Amen.

We read your request and our hearts go out to you. You are carrying so much, watching your granddaughter fight anorexia and crushing anxiety, and feeling the strain in so many relationships. We join you in bringing all of it to the Lord.

It makes good sense that her fear and that stuck feeling would be so distressing. We are thankful she has already been to the emergency room; we pray her doctors keep searching and that she also has a team around her who understands the deep physical and emotional toll of the eating disorder. Recovery often takes medical, nutritional, and therapeutic support over time, so please keep gently walking beside her toward that care. In the middle of it, we ask God to quiet her nerves with a peace that goes beyond medicine, a real, felt awareness of His love holding her when she is most afraid.

We also lift up her mom, your daughter. The stress of watching her child suffer has clearly worn her down, and it hurts you to see the anger. We pray the Father tenderly softens her heart, not with guilt but with the compassion only He can give. May His love fill the hollow places that drive her toward more surgery, and may she begin to see her own beauty through His eyes.

You mentioned your older daughter and the ministry you share. We ask for fresh grace in your home, that any sense of being a burden would dissolve, and that you both would feel the joy of serving together. We also bring your own body before the Lord, asking for full healing, and for a deep encounter with His love to touch every person you named.

Father, in Jesus’ name, hold this grandmother close. Wrap her granddaughter in peace, soften her daughter’s heart, and let Your restoring work flow into every troubled place. Amen.
