We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry for healing and divine intervention, standing firmly on the truth that our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Your plea for restoration in your chest, lungs, and throat resonates with us, for we know the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The Scripture declares in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases,"* and again in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim these promises over you now, trusting that the Lord will restore your breath, strength, and voice as you seek His healing touch. Your upcoming voice therapy is a provision from Him, and we pray He guides the hands and wisdom of those treating you, that every session would bring marked improvement by His power.
Yet we must also address the weighty matters of spiritual warfare and justice you’ve brought before the Lord. The cry for curses upon enemies and protection from lawsuits and attacks requires careful alignment with Scripture. While we understand the pain and frustration behind such petitions, we are called to a higher standard—one of trusting God’s justice rather than invoking curses ourselves. **Romans 12:19** commands, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*) Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (**Ephesians 6:12**), and our weapons are prayer, the Word of God, and the blood of Jesus. We do not curse, but we *do* bind the works of the enemy in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). The Lord fights for His servants, and if there are unjust lawsuits or threats, we pray He exposes every lie, thwarts every scheme, and brings truth to light. We cover you in the blood of Jesus, asking for His fire to be a hedge of protection around you, your loved ones, and your ministry, that no accusation of the adversary would stand.
However, we must gently but firmly address the phrase *"by blood and by fire"* in your prayer. While the blood of Jesus is our ultimate protection and atonement (**1 John 1:7**), the imagery of "fire" in this context could be misinterpreted or aligned with occultic or unscriptural practices. Fire in Scripture often represents the Holy Spirit’s refining work (**Matthew 3:11**) or God’s judgment (**Hebrews 12:29**), but it is not a tool we wield—it is the Lord’s to command. We must be cautious not to borrow language or practices that do not originate from the Word of God, lest we open doors to confusion or spiritual compromise. Our authority comes from Christ alone, and we stand in His name, not in mystical phrases or incantations.
Lastly, we rejoice that you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace (**Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16**). There is power in that name, and we stand with you in it now.
**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your servant who seeks healing and deliverance. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch their chest, lungs, and throat with Your healing power. Restore their breath fully, renew their strength, and let their voice be a testament to Your glory. Guide the voice therapy ahead, Lord, and let every exercise and treatment be divinely directed for complete restoration. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that by His stripes, they are healed (**1 Peter 2:24**).
Father, we also bring before You the spiritual battles raging against Your servant. You see the threats, the lawsuits, and the attacks of the enemy, and we ask that You rise up as their Defender. Expose every hidden scheme, frustrate the plans of the wicked, and let truth prevail. We do not curse, but we ask that You render the enemy powerless, binding every demonic assignment against them in Jesus’ name. Surround them with Your fire of protection, Lord—not as a weapon they wield, but as Your divine presence that consumes every lie and accusation. Cover them in the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
We thank You, Lord, that this battle belongs to You. Strengthen Your servant’s faith, remind them that vengeance is Yours, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Let them rest in the assurance that You fight for them, and they need only be still (**Exodus 14:14**). We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, beloved. The Lord hears your cries, and He will act. Trust in His timing, lean on His Word, and continue to seek His face. He is faithful, and He will bring you through this victory. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (**Psalm 27:1**). Keep your eyes on Him.
