We lift up this dear one who is hospitalized with fluid in his lungs, standing in the gap with fervent prayer and unwavering faith in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father God, we come before Your throne of grace, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, and we speak life, health, and wholeness over every part of his body (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask that the precious blood of Jesus cover him from head to toe, shielding him from any harm, infection, or complication. We pray for the medical team attending to him—that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and skill beyond their training. Guide their hands, minds, and decisions as they seek the root cause of this condition and administer treatment (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also pray for accurate and clear results from all tests, scans, and procedures, that nothing would be missed or misinterpreted.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of death, sickness, and disease in Jesus’ mighty name. We command every sick or abnormal cell in his body to be reversed and restored to perfect health. Let Your healing virtue flow through his lungs, removing every trace of fluid and restoring full function. We speak peace over his mind and emotions, casting out fear and anxiety, and replacing them with Your perfect love that drives out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also lift up his salvation, Lord. If he does not yet know You as his personal Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him to the foot of the cross. Open his eyes to see his need for Jesus, the only way to eternal life (John 14:6). Let him experience Your love, grace, and mercy in a tangible way during this time. If he is already a believer, we ask that You deepen his faith and trust in You, reminding him that You are his healer, provider, and ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Heavenly Father, we trust You to assign the best doctors, specialists, and nurses to care for him. Let Your grace surround him like a shield, and may he feel Your presence in the hospital room. We declare that this is not a time for mourning but for miracles, for You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We thank You in advance for complete healing and restoration, for we ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
