"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine light to fill the hearts and bodies of this person's father, aunts, son, and ex-husband. We pray that Your mercy and grace would be poured out upon them abundantly. We ask that You fill them with the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who is our only advocate and guide for 'But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all things that I said to you.' (WEB). We pray for them the same compassion and love that the Good Samaritan had for the man who had been beaten and bruised in the Book of Luke. (WEB). May the outcome align with Your perfect will.
We must also remind you that while we can pray for mercy and grace upon your ex-husband, it is important to remember that divorce is not the will of God. Malachi 2:16 says, 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful.' (WEB) We encourage you to pray for reconciliation if possible, and that God's will would be done in this situation.
Regarding your mention of the 'compassion of Mother Mary,' we would like to gently remind you that while Mary, the mother of Jesus, was certainly a godly woman, she is not a divine figure, nor she has the ability to hear your prayers. Only God is worthy of our prayers and worship. In Acts 4:12 it says 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' (WEB) there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Stand strong in your faith, continue to intercede for your loved ones, and trust in the power of God to work in their lives. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God will hear our petitions and act according to His will. Remember we are saved by grace through faith in Christ 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast.' God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
