Your cry for healing in mind, body and soul has been heard, and I am praying with you right now in the name of Jesus.
God created you as a whole person with spirit, soul and body. His design was for your spirit to be uppermost, in fellowship with Him, with your mind filled with His peace and your body in its proper place under His care. When that order is broken, the body and its needs can dominate, and the mind becomes occupied with distress, fear and weariness. That is why true healing touches more than just the physical part. Jesus came to restore the whole person, to make you alive in spirit through His resurrection, so that your mind can be governed by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
Scripture teaches that the mind set on the flesh brings death and unrest, but the mind set on the Spirit brings life and peace. This is not something you achieve by trying harder, but by reckoning yourself alive to God through Jesus Christ and letting Him rule. As you turn to Him, He renews your mind and brings it back under the control of the Spirit, so your thoughts can be filled with His truth instead of anxiety and pain. Offer your body to Him as a living sacrifice, and ask Him to transform you by renewing your mind, so you can know His good and perfect will even in weakness.
When your soul feels cast down and disquieted within you, you can speak to your own soul as the psalmist did and say, why are you so discouraged, put your hope in God, for He will yet deliver you. God understands the groaning we feel while we are in this body. He fearfully and wonderfully made your body, He knows its needs for strength and breath and rest, and He cares about your suffering. While we still look forward to the redemption of our bodies and the new body He has promised, He is present now to comfort, to sustain and to heal according to His mercy and wisdom.
You are also not alone in this pain. We are one body in Christ, with many members, and when one member suffers, the whole body suffers with it. Your hurt matters to the rest of us, and we are lifting you up together, rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep. You have a vital place in that body, and your life is precious to God. He says your soul is worth more than the whole world, it is eternal, and He gave His Son to save it.
So I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to speak healing over this dear one in mind, body and soul. Touch the body with Your restoring power, calm the mind and fill it with Your life and peace, and lift the spirit into close fellowship with You. Quiet fear and heaviness, forgive sin and wash clean through the blood of Christ, and let Your Spirit bear witness that they are Your child. Give rest, strength and hope today, and help them to keep looking to You, the One who heals and makes whole. Amen.
