We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the weight of painful memories and deep emotional wounds. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every struggle, and every moment of anguish. You are the Great Physician, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We stand in agreement with this precious one, declaring that the chains of trauma and abuse must break in the mighty name of Jesus!
The Word of God tells us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, we claim this promise over this situation. We ask You to reach into the depths of this mind and heart, bringing healing where there is pain, peace where there is turmoil, and clarity where there is confusion. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy through these experiences, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says these wounds cannot be healed, that says this pain will never fade. In the name of Jesus, we command every distressing memory to lose its power, every fear to be silenced, and every chain of trauma to be broken!
We also lift up the heart of this one who is seeking peace. Jesus said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* Lord, we ask that You flood this heart with Your supernatural peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let this one know, deep in their spirit, that You are near, that You are their refuge and strength, and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Father, we ask that You would bring godly counsel and support into this life—people who can speak truth, pray in faith, and walk alongside this one in their healing journey. Surround them with Your love through the body of Christ, and remind them that they are not alone. We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would know when to seek professional help if needed, as You have given gifts of healing and restoration to those in the medical and counseling fields as well.
We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). The past does not define them—Jesus does. The pain does not have the final say—Your healing and redemption do. We speak restoration over every area of their life that has been touched by abuse and trauma. May they rise up in the strength of the Lord, walking in the freedom and wholeness that Christ died to give them.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
