We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these physical afflictions to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. It is right to seek healing, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, we must address the request for intercession from Mary, the mother of Jesus, as this is not aligned with Scripture. There is only one mediator between God and man, and that is Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, John 14:6).
We rebuke the notion of praying to anyone other than God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Father God, we lift up this dear one who is struggling with high blood sugar, prostate trouble, weak eyes, and a deformed rib cage. We ask for Your healing touch upon each of these ailments. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things. You formed us in our mother’s womb and knit us together with care (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You would restore health and strength to this body, according to Your will.
For the high blood sugar, we pray for balance and restoration. May this one’s body be strengthened to regulate glucose as You designed it to do. We declare Your word over this situation: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2).
For the prostate trouble, we ask for healing and relief. Father, You know the intricate details of our bodies, and we trust You to bring restoration. We pray that this one would experience Your peace and comfort, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
For the weak eyes, we ask for Your healing touch. Lord, You opened the eyes of the blind during Your earthly ministry, and we believe You can do the same today. We pray for 20/20 vision, but above all, we pray for spiritual clarity and a deeper vision of You and Your purposes (Ephesians 1:18).
For the deformed rib cage and stooped posture, we ask for Your miraculous healing. Lord, You are the God who straightens the crooked paths (Isaiah 45:2). We pray that this one’s body would be made whole, that they may stand tall and strong, both physically and spiritually.
We also pray for wisdom in seeking medical care and guidance from healthcare professionals. May this one be diligent in following Your leading and the advice of those You have placed in their life to help. We trust in Your provision and care, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You through this trial. May they find their strength in You and experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting this body, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, this one is healed (1 Peter 2:24). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
