We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have placed your trust in Him for healing, invoking the precious name of Jesus in your request—for it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your reliance on Him, and we join you in seeking His miraculous touch for your eyes.
The Scriptures remind us that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. In Exodus 15:26, He declares, *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We claim this promise over your life today, believing that the same power that opened the eyes of the blind in Jesus’ ministry (Matthew 9:27-30) is at work in you. Your retina surgery is but a step in the process, but it is God who brings complete restoration. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we trust that includes the delicate work of your eyes.
Yet we also acknowledge that healing may unfold in God’s perfect timing and according to His will. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the removal of his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Whether through immediate restoration or sustained strength in the waiting, we pray you experience His grace in abundance. May your faith not waver, but grow deeper as you fix your eyes—not on what is seen, but on what is unseen (2 Corinthians 4:18). The temporary affliction of your eyes is producing an eternal weight of glory far beyond comparison.
We also encourage you to steward your health wisely during this season. Honor the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) by following medical advice, resting as needed, and nourishing yourself with God’s Word. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart (Colossians 3:15), guarding against anxiety, for worry cannot add a single hour to your life (Matthew 6:27). Instead, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for the healing touch of Your hand upon their eyes. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You restore their vision completely—every cell, every nerve, every function—to full health and strength. Let the work of the surgeons be perfected by Your divine power, leaving no room for complications or setbacks. If there has been any fear or doubt, replace it with unshakable faith in Your goodness.
We rebuked any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). Let Your healing virtue flow through their body, renewing their eyesight as a testimony of Your mercy. Grant them patience in the waiting, and let this season draw them closer to You. May they see not only with physical eyes but with spiritual eyes wide open to Your glory.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
