We lift up this precious sister in Christ who is battling stomach cancer, along with her husband and their little ones, before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). Lord, You see the tears, the fear, and the desperation in this family’s eyes—You collect every one of those tears in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We declare that Your word says by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today. We rebuke this cancer in Jesus’ name—every cell, every tumor, every trace of sickness must bow to the authority of the name of Jesus! We command this body to be restored, for You are the God who raises the dead and calls those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).
We also lift up her husband, Lord. Strengthen him to be the spiritual leader this family needs right now. Give him wisdom, peace, and an unshakable faith as he walks this valley. Remind him that You are a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5)—even when the outcome is uncertain, You are their provider, their protector, and their hope. For these little ones, Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, whether through dreams, through the love of the body of Christ, or through the comfort of Your Holy Spirit.
Father, we also address the medical report that says “there is nothing more to do.” We declare that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). You are not limited by man’s prognosis or statistics—You are the God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who turned water into wine. We ask for a miracle, Lord, not just for healing, but for Your glory to be displayed in this situation. Let this family’s testimony be a beacon of hope to others who are facing impossible circumstances.
We also want to gently remind this dear sister and her husband that their hope must be firmly anchored in Jesus Christ alone. If they have not already, we encourage them to surrender their lives fully to Him, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial. If they have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we urge them to do so today (Romans 10:9). Eternal life is not just about healing in this life—it is about being reconciled to God and having the assurance of spending eternity with Him.
Lord, we also pray for the body of Christ to rally around this family. Stir the hearts of believers to provide practical support—meals, childcare, financial assistance, and most importantly, prayer. Let them not walk this journey alone, but let them be surrounded by a community that reflects Your love and compassion. We ask that You would open doors for divine connections, for unexpected blessings, and for moments of joy even in the midst of this storm.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would prepare their hearts for whatever outcome You have ordained. If it is Your will to heal her completely, we will rejoice and give You all the glory. If it is Your will to call her home, we ask that You would comfort them with the hope of heaven and the promise of eternal life. Remind them that to be absent from the body is to be present with You (2 Corinthians 5:8), and that one day, there will be no more pain, no more tears, and no more sickness (Revelation 21:4). Until then, Lord, give them the strength to endure, the faith to trust, and the peace that only You can provide.
