We stand with you in faith, lifting your health and this upcoming biopsy to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. Your declaration of healing through Jesus’ stripes is a powerful testimony of faith, and we echo that truth in agreement with you—*"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name alone that we find healing, hope, and deliverance (Acts 4:12).
Yet even as we stand in faith for a negative biopsy and complete restoration of your gallbladder, we must also acknowledge that our trust is not in the results themselves, but in the sovereignty of God. Whether the report brings the news we hope for or a challenge we did not anticipate, we know that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). If the Lord allows this trial to persist, we pray He will use it to draw you closer to Him, to strengthen your faith, and to testify to His grace in ways you cannot yet see. Remember how the apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to remove his thorn in the flesh, only to hear God say, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Even in suffering, God’s purpose prevails, and His glory shines brightest in our dependence on Him.
We also encourage you to steward your body well during this time—resting, hydrating, and seeking wisdom in how to support your gallbladder’s health through diet and care. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor God in how we treat it. If medical treatment or further intervention is needed, we pray the Lord will guide your doctors with wisdom and skill, and that He will provide you with peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait (Philippians 4:6-7).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your beloved child, who is trusting in You for healing and peace. Lord, You know the fears and anxieties that can arise while waiting for medical results, but we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would calm every racing thought and fill this dear one with Your perfect peace as they wait on You.
Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross, and we stand on the promise that by Your stripes, we *are* healed. We ask for a miraculous touch upon this gallbladder—inflammation be rebuked, pain be silenced, and every cell be restored to perfect health in Your name. We pray that the biopsy results on Friday will bring good news, that no cancer would be found, and that this dear one would be able to testify of Your healing power.
Yet, Father, if this trial is part of a greater plan You are weaving, we submit to Your will. Give strength for each day, wisdom for each decision, and a heart that remains steadfast in praise, no matter the outcome. Surround this one with Your presence, with godly support, and with reminders of Your faithfulness. Let this season be one where Your name is glorified, whether through healing or through the grace to endure.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this body shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord will perfect that which concerns them (Psalm 138:8). May they walk in the confidence that You are their Healer, their Provider, and their ever-present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust You, and we give You all the glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
