We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise as we pray for complete restoration of his lungs and airways. Heavenly Father, we ask You to touch his body with Your healing hand, removing every trace of COPD and asthma. Breathe Your life-giving Spirit into his lungs, Lord, and let him inhale Your peace and exhale every burden of illness. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command every inflammation, infection, and obstruction to leave his body now.
We also pray for his immune system to be strengthened, fortified by the blood of Jesus, so that no virus or sickness can take hold. In this season of high heat, Father, we ask that You provide him with cool, clean air to breathe and shield him from any triggers that may worsen his condition. Let him walk in divine health, free from the limitations of these ailments, and give him the strength to glorify You in his body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word, declaring healing over your son daily. Speak life into his situation, for death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are any lifestyle or environmental factors contributing to his condition, seek godly wisdom in addressing them, whether through medical guidance or natural remedies that align with biblical principles.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that Your healing power is at work in him even now, and we will not waver in our faith. Strengthen this family as they wait on You, and let them see Your goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). Amen.
