We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord. The Bible assures us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the mercy of God to restore health and strength.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine healing touch upon this precious son. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your ability to heal COPD and asthma. We pray that You would remove all inflammation from his lungs and airways, cleanse any infection, and strengthen his immune system to fight off illness and viruses. In this season of high humidity, grant him the ease to breathe deeply and freely, filling his lungs with Your life-giving breath.
We also pray for spiritual strength and endurance for him. May he find comfort and peace in Your presence, knowing that You are with him in every breath he takes. Remind him of Your promises in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, this son is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your Word, which says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through this healing. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue seeking God’s face, trusting in His timing and perfect plan. Surround yourselves with a community of believers who can pray and support you during this time. Keep declaring God’s promises over your son’s life and remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
