Yet, as we pray for physical healing, we must also remember that our ultimate hope is not merely in temporary relief but in the eternal redemption found in Christ. If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him—that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8), and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). There is no greater healing than the salvation of the soul, and no greater peace than walking in right relationship with God.
Let us also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Even when healing tarries, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
