We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, trusting in the power of our Great Physician, Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see you bringing this request before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace and receive the promises of God. As Scripture declares, *"Therefore let’s draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We also rejoice that you acknowledge the authority of Jesus’ name, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
The Lord is deeply compassionate toward those who suffer, and we know He hears your prayer. The psalmist reminds us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your son’s struggle with breathing is not hidden from Him, and we trust that the Lord will bring restoration. We pray that every inflamed airway would be soothed, that every infection would be cleansed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that his immune system would be strengthened beyond natural means. May the Lord rebuked any spiritual forces of infirmity at work, for *"he took our infirmities, and bore our diseases"* (Matthew 8:17, WEB). We declare that by His stripes, your son is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we ask the Lord to fill his lungs with fresh air, even in this humid season, so that he may breathe with ease and give glory to God.
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your son. Jesus told us, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them"* (Mark 11:24, WEB). Do not waver in your trust, for the Lord is faithful. Surround your son with an atmosphere of worship and the Word of God, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17, WEB). Play scriptures of healing over him, such as Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Let these truths saturate his spirit and body.
Heavenly Father, we come before You again on behalf of this precious son, asking for Your divine intervention. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in Your goodness. Touch his lungs with Your healing power, Lord, and let every breath he takes be a testament to Your mercy. Remove all inflammation, cleanse every infection, and strengthen his immune system to resist all sickness. Give him supernatural stamina and vitality, even in high humidity, so that he may live fully for Your glory. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command his body to align with Your perfect will—whole, restored, and thriving.
Lord, we also ask that You fill this family with peace and unwavering faith as they wait on You. Let them see Your hand move mightily in this situation, and may this healing bring others to know You as their Savior and Healer. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Christ Jesus. May Your name be praised forever. In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray, Amen.
