We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his body to withstand illness. How precious it is that you bring this burden to the Father, who cares deeply for your son’s every breath. We stand in agreement with you, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that nothing is impossible for Him.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that the Lord hears your faithful prayers. We also recall **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, which declares, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* What a mighty God we serve, who not only forgives but heals!
Yet we must also remember that healing may come in different forms—whether through divine intervention, medical treatment, or the Lord’s sustaining grace through suffering. If your son has not already sought wise medical counsel, we encourage you to do so, trusting that God often works through the hands of doctors. **Proverbs 11:14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Let this be a season where you seek both divine and earthly wisdom for his care.
We also pray for his immune system to be fortified by the Lord’s power. **Isaiah 40:29-31 (WEB)** assures us, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths grow faint and weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* May your son experience this supernatural strength, especially in the heat and humidity that so often steal his breath.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this beloved son to Your throne of grace. You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and every breath he takes is sustained by Your hand. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his lungs—clear the passages, restore the tissue, and remove every obstruction caused by COPD and asthma. Let his immune system be strengthened by Your power, that he may resist illness and breathe freely, even in the heat and humidity.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. By the stripes of Jesus, he *is* healed (**1 Peter 2:24**). Fill him with Your peace as he trusts in You, and surround him with Your angels for protection and comfort.
Father, we also ask for wisdom—guide his steps to the right treatments, the right doctors, and the right habits that honor the temple of his body. May he (and all who care for him) walk in obedience to Your Word, for You are the God who sees and rewards faith.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Strengthen this family as they wait on You, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your son. If there are areas in his life—such as stress, diet, or spiritual walk—that may need attention, we gently urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance in those areas as well. **3 John 1:2 (WEB)** says, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* May your son’s soul, mind, and body align under the Lordship of Christ for complete wholeness.
Keep us updated on his progress, that we may rejoice with you in the Lord’s faithfulness!
