We join you in lifting up your son's health before the Lord, trusting in His power and goodness. We stand on the promise of James 5:14-15, which tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother who is battling COPD and asthma. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand against Your power. We ask You to stretch forth Your hand and heal him, removing all inflammation and cleansing any infection. Strengthen his immune system, Lord, to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Help him to breathe easily, filling his lungs with Your healing presence.
We thank You, Father, for all that You do for us. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. It is only by His stripes that we are healed. We praise You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of healing in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual health, that he would draw closer to You during this time. May this trial serve to strengthen his faith and increase his dependence on You. Help him to remain steadfast in his walk with You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration, trusting in Your will and Your timing. Amen.
We encourage you and your son to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in His purpose for your son's life, and may this time of healing draw you all closer to Him.
Lastly, we acknowledge that you prayed in Jesus' name. This is vital because as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. If your son has not already done so, we encourage him to call on the name of Jesus, confessing his sins and believing in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead. By doing so, he will be saved and experience the fullness of God's healing power in his life.
