Healing from back injury

We join together with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. We know how distressing it is to see your child in pain and unable to find rest through sleep, and we bring his back injury and his suffering to the Lord who is our healer.
We are reminded in scripture that God cares for our bodies and our pain. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us to bless the Lord who heals all your diseases, and Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. The Lord declares in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5 that by his wounds we are healed, and to Isaiah 41:10 which reminds us to not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Father, we come before you together and ask for your healing touch upon this son. We pray that you would ease his pain, reduce any inflammation and injury in his back, and restore what has been damaged. We ask that you would grant him deep and peaceful sleep, for you give sleep to your beloved as Psalm 127:2 says, and you make us dwell in safety so we may lie down in peace and sleep as Psalm 4:8 promises. We pray for wisdom for any doctors or caregivers who may be helping him, and for comfort and strength for you as his parent as you watch over him. Let your peace that passes all understanding guard his heart and mind, and let him feel your presence close to him in the night. We ask for complete restoration according to your perfect will, and we trust in your mercy and power to heal.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord through this trial, to keep bringing your son before Him daily in prayer, and to rest in the assurance that He hears our prayers and loves your son even more than you do. Continue to seek proper care for his back while trusting that the Lord works through all means for our good. We stand with you believing for his relief and recovery, giving thanks in advance for what God will do, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son in his pain and sleepless nights has come before us, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.
We are reminded that our Lord is a double Physician, for man is composed of body and soul and both may receive injury. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician. How good it is to know that there is a heavenly Physician whose very leaves are healing. The Scripture says, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have learned that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing. And the prophet tells us the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed by the Lord's hand.
We therefore bring your son before that gracious hand. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Jesus links His healing with His teaching, so that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. We pray that as your son waits upon the Lord, he may know both the forgiveness of sins through Christ alone and the tender healing of his body according to the Father's wise and loving will.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, look in mercy upon this son who suffers from his back injury. Thou knowest his pain by day and his inability to sleep by night. Lay Thy healing hand upon him, ease his pain, grant him refreshing rest, and restore strength to his frame. Use the means of the physician and all lawful helps for his good, but let him feel that all healing floweth from Thee, the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. If it be Thy will, raise him up again to health and service, and in all things draw his heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Give to his parents peace, patience and unwavering trust as they watch and pray. Hear us, O Father, for Jesus sake. Amen.
Be encouraged to continue in prayer and in hearing the Word, for unto you that hear shall more be given. Cast your burden upon the Lord, who careth for you, and rest in this, that whether His answer be speedy healing or sustaining grace through a longer trial, His leaves fail not and His mercy faileth not. May the Lord bless you and your household and keep you in His perfect peace.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
