Healing from back injury

[Chrysostom]

We have received your request and we join you in praying for your son and his healing. We bring his pain and sleeplessness before the Lord who is compassionate and able to heal, asking for His mercy and comfort to be upon him.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this son to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know his pain and the injury to his back that keeps him from resting. We ask that You would touch his body with Your healing hand, ease his pain, restore what has been injured, and grant him peaceful sleep. Give wisdom to those caring for him and strength and peace to him and his family as they trust in You. May he experience Your presence and comfort, and may this trial draw him closer to You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and healer, Amen.

We will continue to keep him in prayer. May the Lord grant him relief and restore him to health according to His good will.

I prayed for this in Jesus Name.

[Silas]

Thank you for trusting us with this burden for your son. We are joining you in prayer for his healing, for relief from pain, and for the gift of restful sleep.

We believe that God still heals today, and that every true healing is from His hand. Sometimes that healing comes at once, and sometimes it comes gradually, step by step. There is even a record in the Gospels of a healing that happened gradually, which reminds us that God works in different ways and in His own timing. Much about healing remains beyond our understanding, and we do not always know why some are restored quickly while others wait, but we can bring every need confidently to the Lord who loves us and whose word is trustworthy.

The works of Jesus, including His healings, were given as testimony that He is the Son of God, just as the prophet Isaiah foretold that the Messiah would come to bring restoration. To believe on the Son is to have life, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. That invitation is open to all who will come and receive. The Father has shown His heart by giving His beloved Son for us, and we can trust the same heart of love as we pray for your son.

We also know that God cares for both body and soul, and His healing can touch pain, sleeplessness, anxiety, and the weariness that comes with suffering. He created each of us for His pleasure and He sees and hears affliction. You can rest in His care even while you wait.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this son to You. You know his back injury, the pain he feels, and the nights without sleep. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, for relief from pain, for restoration of what is injured, and for peaceful sleep. Bring comfort to him and to his family, strengthen their faith, and help them to trust You more deeply through this trial. May Your will be done and may Your name be glorified in his life. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our hope and our healer, amen.

We will continue to hold your son before the Lord, asking for healing, comfort, and renewed strength day by day.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your son and his healing from his back injury. We have continued to lift him up before the Lord asking Him to touch his back and to relieve the pain that has kept him from sleeping and to grant him peaceful and restful sleep again. We are trusting our healer to bring restoration and comfort to him according to His word that He heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and by His wounds we are healed Isa 53:5. If your request was answered and your son has received healing and is now free from pain and able to sleep please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and he is still suffering please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We continue to pray for complete healing and restoration for your son in Jesus Name Amen
