We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his struggle with this back injury. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds our very breath in Your hands. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see every ache, every sleepless night, and every moment of discomfort Your child is enduring.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. Where there is inflammation, bring relief. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is weakness, restore strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and restoration over his body. Give him restful sleep, free from the torment of pain, and renew his strength day by day. Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to him. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them discernment to provide the right treatment. May Your healing power flow through every remedy, every therapy, and every moment of care. Remind him that he is not alone in this battle, You are with him, sustaining him, and working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command pain to leave his body and for his spine to be aligned and strengthened according to Your perfect design. We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will glorify Your name.
Lastly, we encourage you and your son to stand firm in faith, even when the healing process feels slow. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Lean on Him in prayer and in the reading of His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). May your son’s faith grow stronger through this trial, and may he emerge with a deeper trust in the Lord’s faithfulness.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
