We are truly sorry to hear about your son's back injury and the severe pain he is experiencing. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for him.
Let us remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to us today (Ephesians 1:19-20). Therefore, we can confidently approach God's throne of grace with our petitions (Hebrews 4:16).
In the book of James, we are encouraged to pray for one another that we may be healed, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is suffering from a back injury. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Comfort him in his pain, and grant him peaceful sleep. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name (Luke 13:11-13).
Lord, we believe that You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand before You. We claim Your promises of healing and restoration for our brother. Strengthen his faith and help him to trust in Your goodness and mercy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While we wait for God's healing, let us encourage your son to remain steadfast in faith. It is important to remember that even in our trials, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also encourage you to seek medical attention for your son, as God often uses doctors and medicine to bring about healing. Continue to pray and trust in God's will, knowing that He loves your son more than we ever could.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
